What to bring
Keep yourself energized:
DON'T WANT TO WORRY ABOUT PACKING A LUNCH? Reserve a lunch when booking your tour.
Outerwear and Gear:
Basics:
- A good attitude. Be ready to be outside, try some new things, and, if you're comfortable push your boundaries.
- A government-issued ID.
- Show up ready for a full day. Be sure to hydrate the day prior to your tour, and avoid a late night on the town.
All too often we see clients show up after having a few too many the night before, this does not make for an enjoyable day.
- Be sure to bring food, and water for the day. Energy bars/gels are a great go to for snacks, a hearty sandwich for our mid day lunch, and PLENTY of water. Don't forget to hydrate the day before.
- Closed toe shoes: This isn't a walk on the beach. Although this tour is perfect for those with no experience we recommend sturdy footwear so you don't stub a toe while enjoying the scenic vistas.
- Clothes you don't mind getting dirty: You'll be behind a roll cage, windshield and half doors while driving your UTV, but don't be surprised if things get a little muddy or dusty on the trail.
- Neck buff or bandana: Depending on the season your tour will take you along dirt double track trails, over rocky ridges and through the occasional mud puddle. A neck buff or bandana is essential to help you filter out the dust in the drier months, or keep the mud off your face if mother nature gives us some precipitation.
- Sunglasses and a hat: The Utah sun can be brutal, don't let yourself get caught off guard without these crucial items. Keep in mind these tours get dirty, try to avoid bringing your favorite designer shades. A cheap pair from the gas station will do just fine.
- Sunscreen: Don't forget your Sunscreen! Even on cloudy days you can still get a burn.
- Windbreaker/sweatshirt: It may be warm in town, however our tours will take you to over 9000 ft in elevation. Temperatures can change dramatically, and afternoon rain showers are not uncommon.
- Camera/cellphone: We wont have cell service but you'll want to capture pictures and videos of your day.
- Backpack: Keep all your items organized in a backpack you don't mind getting a little mud or dust on.
- A change of clothes:
- It doesn't hurt to bring a change of clothes. Things can get a little muddy or dusty out there. Let us keep the mud on the seat of the side by sides and keep your personal vehicle clean.
